Treatment in 3-week Stages
orthocaps aligners are regularly adjusted. You will wear each set for a period of three weeks. Every three weeks, you will have a check-up with your orthodontist to determine how well the treatment has been working. At this time you may receive new aligners depending on the progress of correction. Every three weeks is another opportunity to see how far you have come. Your teeth are corrected gradually, one set of aligners at a time.
Getting Good Results
The synthetic materials for your aligners are carefully selected at each stage of treatment. By wearing your orthocaps aligners at least 20 hours a day, you ensure the gentle correction of your teeth.
Step 1: Consultation
When you choose orthocaps, your orthodontist will sit down with you and explain your customized TwinAligner® treatment plan in detail. He or she will then take an impression of your teeth.
Step 2: Digitization
As part of your orthocaps treatment, computerized versions of your dental impressions, photos, and X-rays will be created. This must be done with extreme precision to make the next step possible.
Step 3: Planning
The precise digitization and assessment of your data allow us to accurately foresee your orthocaps treatment result.
Step 4: Determining Technical Specifications
Our orthocaps experts work with your orthodontist to determine what materials should be used to manufacture your hardCAPS and softCAPS aligners. Your treatment objectives can then be defined with greater precision.
Step 5: Manufacturing
Once the materials have been decided on, our orthocaps laboratory begins manufacturing your aligners. Your orthocaps aligners are made in Germany by our high-precision manufacturing specialists.
Step 6: Delivery
Your aligners are sent directly to your orthodontist. All you have to do is set up an appointment right away to have them fitted.
Schritt 7: Our Commitment to Quality
Your orthodontist will put your orthocaps aligners in place. He or she will then carefully check their position at each stage of treatment. It goes without saying that hardCAPS and softoCAPS aligners are subject to the strictest quality control.
